What did I learn from attending NET-A-PORTER’s Beauty Panel Discussion? Global Beauty Director Newby Hands said something that was a skincare revelation to me when I was complaining (LOL!) about having too many steps and layers to my regime. I mean we are all busy women – well, for me that’s more of an excuse – I’m just so lazy so want the least amount of steps as possible. Like who has time for makeup removal, cleansing, exfoliating, toning, serum-ising (is that even a word), moisturising, essential oil-ing (again, is it a word?), eye creaming etc etc etc. Anyway, Newby said after cleansing, you can mix the all products together and put it all on at once. Ummm why has no one said that before? Seems so obvious! It all gets absorbed into the skin anyway – why did it have to be in stages?
Ok so now I’m gonna go eat a concoction of entree, main and dessert… Perhaps it’s not a one-size-fits-all theory in life in general, but what a time saver when it comes to the beauty stakes!
