
As a host and contributing editor for Vogue Singapore, Yvette King has become a familiar face at the forefront of fashion and culture in the region. She has hosted the Vogue Singapore Gala since its inception, led red carpet interviews for the publication for nearly half a decade, fronted the podcast Vogue Uncut: Next in Vogue and written deeply considered features exploring women’s health and safety, spotlights on Asian fashion, viewpoint pieces, Miss Vogue celebrity interviews and stories celebrating regional creativity and identity. Her work embodies Vogue Singapore’s mission to highlight the people, ideas, and designs shaping Asia’s cultural landscape. Interviewees for Vogue Singapore include celebrated designers Prabal Gurung, Robert Wun, Gaurav Gupta, Iris van Herpen and Chet Lo plus actresses Ashley Park, Alisha Boe, Jessica Henwick and Stephanie Hsu to name but a few.
Alongside her contributions to Vogue, Yvette is best known as the host of E! Asia, interviewing some of the biggest names in entertainment like Tom Cruise, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Chris Hemsworth, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Alicia Vikander, Jason Statham, Jessica Chastain, Kevin Hart, Chris Pratt and NCT 127. She was also the anchor of Asia’s first broadcast of E! Live From the Red Carpet, E!’s most successful global franchise, which reached over 35 million viewers across 17 countries.
Over her nearly two decade-long media career, Yvette fronted E! Asia’s flagship programmes E! News Asia, Beyond the Red Carpet and VIP, writing both short and long format programmes for NBCUniversal. She was Highly Commended for Best Entertainment Presenter/Host at the Asian Television Awards for her work with the network.
A graduate and now ambassador of the University of Sydney with a degree in Media and Communications and a TV Presenter certification from NIDA, she began her career as a VJ for The Daily Telegraph before moving to Asia, cutting her teeth in the industry anchoring over 400 live shows at FOX Networks. Her emceeing work has included events with Sophia Loren, Eva Longoria, Naomi Campbell, Victoria and David Beckham and more. Yvette counts global brands like Audemars Piguet, BMW, Ferrari, Hublot, Magnum, Coach, Royal Salute as her hosting clientele and has remained partners with luxury labels such as Chanel Beauty, Dior Beauty, Fendi, Versace, Longchamp for many years.
Yvette remains at the helm of the Asian Academy Creative Awards live red carpet, a prestigious award ceremony recognising excellence in the film and television industry across 16 nations in the Asia-Pacific region. She also continues to be commissioned to write shows for NBCUniversal such as Fashion to Film and Cultured.
When she’s not on camera, Yvette is a proud mum to twin daughters with her husband Ben King, balancing family life with a dynamic career that continues to bridge entertainment, fashion, and storytelling.
