Pucker up! Funnily enough my hubby Ben won’t kiss me unless I’m wearing Chanel lipstick. Now hold on… Before you go thinking he’s a major snob, it’s because they have lippies that don’t seem to transfer the colour to his face! We can smooch all night and he doesn’t end up with red lips! The ones he loves are the liquid lipsticks, but I thought I would try out the following:

2. LE ROUGE HYDRATING SHEER LIPSHINE. This one is perfect for a day look – super casual, but enough of a tint and pigment to make your lips have that perfect stain. Understated ya know? I like that its hydrating – you can wear it all day and not have lips dried out like the Sahara desert. And trust me, some lipsticks have cracked the crap out of my lips before. However, I am truly, at heart a strong lipstick gal – sheer doesn’t usually cut the mustard for me.

3. ROUGE COCO GLOSS. Ok so as you know from points 1. and 2. I love lipstick and bold colour. So I have been avoiding the lip gloss comeback for some time. I really thought I was a matte girl. But the 90s are back en vogue and with it, the gloss is not giving up. So if ya can’t beat em, join em! Or in my case, combine em! I wear Lip Colour as my base and then add the Coco Gloss on top for a shine.
Now to the nail varnish – LE VERNIS. I have been religiously wearing polish on my hands and feet consecutively since my mum allowed me to paint them many moons ago. She wore Chanel. Thanks for the expensive taste ma! In general, I feel very odd when my nails are not covered in some kind of fabulous colour. But I must say I do have my rotations. Nude, red, and aubergine. Excited for a splash of colour with the Violet Piquant.
