I’ve found it! The perfect lipstick where matt meets lip stain! The Burberry Velvet Lip Crush. It’s not too OTT and it’s not too subtle either. I would sum it up as an effortless lip look – just the right amount of colour without trying too hard.
The 12 shades are all colours you would want in your makeup kit – ranging from soft pinks to beautiful aubergines and vibrant reds. Oh and what about the cushion applicator! You simply twist the base and the gorgeous colour oozes out onto the cushion. It took me a few twists to get the colour going but once it was out, two or three swipes and my lips were perfectly stained.
Stunner Iris Law – yes the genetically blessed daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost – fronts the campaign but also works as the artistic director the launch.
