Sometimes what you need to do when you’re feeling a little bit burnt out is to EAT, PRAY, LOVE…
And you can do that exact thing at Siena House, Tuscany. An old farmhouse transformed into a little slice of heaven basically. The food is all homemade – carb-loading is just something you can’t avoid as it’s all so yummy.
We hired a car and drove up to the designer factory outlets in Florence – Moschino, Prada, Fendi – you name it, it’s there. And it’s sooo much cheaper than the prices you paid full retail, let alone in Asia or Australia. Prada sunnies are around $200 SGD / AUD… Ben even got a Fendi tie for $35 SGD! Then when you lead Italy, you get a 12 percent VAT refund on top. My advice – get there early as you’ll miss the long queues and bus loads of tourists. It’s called The Mall – linked for more details.
Having a car is the best thing you can do – you can head out to all the little surrounding towns for lunch or gelato – it’s incredible!
