RESORT LUXE RESOLUTIONS
This year, of course career ain’t going to fall by the wayside – far from it. But I’ve decided I need to pour some energy into looking after myself. This is the year of HEALTH!
I don’t want you to think I’m now going to become a fitness and health douchebag taking incessant gym selfies, but I will certainly share any learnings I gather from using myself as a Guinea Pig. I am a creature of habit so the biggest no brainer was to just start incorporating one part of exercise into my daily routine – something that didn’t necessarily include changing into gym clothes or getting incredibly sweaty etc… My solution? 50 squats per day. Simple as that. Now just remember – this is just a starting point.
So that’s exercise on track. Diet. I see the biggest results physically, based on what I put into my body. I decided to kick start by doing 3 main things – eating more raw foods, minimising carb intake and “swapping” things for the healthier alternative. Let’s just say it involves lots of coconut oil, fruit salads, brown rice and GREENS! I should also mention I can get very “hangry” so I would never take on a “diet” that’s not sustainable or makes me feel starving all the time. This is actually the opposite – I feel nourished and less inclined to snack.
It’s only mid January and let me tell you, I’ve already been getting amazing results – so much more to share in coming posts. I’ll keep you posted. Pun intended.
