Last night I had the pleasure of hosting Kate Spade New York’s grand opening at the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.

The crowd included a lot of the usual GLAMOUROUS suspects including the likes of the lovely Samantha Chan, Tracy Phillips, Hanli Hoefer, Dawn Yang, Tabitha Nauser, Sonya Davison, Kenneth Goh, Yoyo Cao and soooo many more. Basically the who’s who of the Singapore scene.

Let talk a little bit about Kate Spade New York a little bit more. The style is based in the concept of “Living Colourfully”, being carried away on an adventure, happiness and the whimsical. The collections are actually updated every single month, keeping things fresh all the time. This Spring 2015 range is off the hook – there’s a bit of a gardening theme – hence the watering can bag that I am slightly obsessed with. If you’re looking for a label that has literally been designed to brighten your day – this one’s for you.

I think it’s also one brand that is in point for Singapore’s weather. Easy, breezy, bright and fun.

Back to the event put on by Division Events. It was great to meet the GM of Kate Spade New York for South East Asia and Australia – Elodie – she’s one of those uber chic women – French (of course!). Was great to talk about the French Riviera over a glass of Moet! #someonesgottadoit

I couldn’t leave this new boutique without taking a bit of Kate home with me. I’ve got a new cross-body bag, bangle and ring – will post about them soon!
