Italy is one country that never ceases to amaze me. The people are warm and animated, when you’re eating the food you can’t help but feel guilty as it’s so hearty and delicious and everywhere you look it’s a postcard or Fellini film waiting to happen.
I spent a week in glorious Tuscany, and waking up at 5am every day was not a bad thing here. The sunrise was magic and also meant that heading into town for an espresso and a gelato (hey it’s midday somewhere in the world – there’s nothing wrong with a bit of melt-in-you-mouth ice cream for breakfast!) and a photoshoot. The light is perfect and you have the whole piazza to yourself.
