Fashion Bloggers TV has certainly shone the spotlight on some of these ladies, but truth be known, I’ve been following some of them for around 5 years now…

And it certainly has been interesting to watch their style evolution and just the sheer success of these Australian girls. Back in circa 2010, one of the first fashion blogs I followed was 4th and Bleeker. It was referred to me by a friend who was a booker at Chic Model Management – and now this story comes full circle as she works at IMG, and I caught up with her at MBFWA 2015 and guess who was there walking straight by us, but the 4th and Bleeker chick. (Otherwise known by Alexandra Spencer).

Since that day I clicked on the link and explored this creative world of travel, self-portraits and just generally a website version of RUSSH magazine, I kinda became obsessed with personal blogs. Suddenly I found myself constantly checking what the likes of Tuula and Song of Style were wearing and feeling completely inspired. It was through Tuula that I found Zanita’s stunning blog – a chronicle of globe trotting, fashion shows, landscapes, model test shoots etc. I was hooked! I also was also drawn to Harper & Harley – the simple, easy grey scale fashion was easy to relate to. No fuss involved. Oracle Fox Blog came later – Amanda Shadforth’s impeccable curated images and eye for detail really made me fall in love with her feed (along with 532k other people as well).

But now after the first season of Fashion Bloggers TV – which is aired on the Style Network in Australia and E! in Asia, they’ve gained even more momentum – it’s so great to see these very talented girls make it so huge.
